This is Evy letting Truth see things from her perspective c:. This is before the fire and the unruly mob that drive her out of town. It's a fleeting, mirthful memory. That sun sure looks be-HOOVE-d. Bwah ha ha, horrible pun >:3. And that B'loon is probably just happy to be free of it's youthful captor.

I've noticed that whenever I sit down to draw in this style, I expect it to be brief but I wind up spending just as much time as if not more than my other styles. It saves me a walk to the scanner at least. And it makes me feel giddy and cutesy. So ha!

Guys, to be honest, there's not much to develop when it comes to Truth. His childhood is normal (beside the fiery near-death experience with Evy, of course) and he doens't have any burning secrets to reveal. He's pretty plain vanilla and straight forward, like a child. He mainly serves as a foil to Evelyn. I have plans for him though :3. You shall see!
